I can't understand why the bigger E63 AMG could produce 507 bhp and this one (the smaller car) has 457 bhp only, could this car be heavier? or did they decrease it's power?

I think they decreased the power as to not draw to many buyers away from the E.
I believe the Brabus Bullit has the 6.5 litre Twin Turbo V12, with a power increase shoved in there. Plus carbon-fibre everything. This, and a proper manual=sex.
I looked it up and it has a five speed auto so unfortunately not.
I read that it has a six-speed manual.

With 1100Nm it would break almost any manual to pieces.
It has the 5-speed auto from the supercharged/turbocharged AMGs.

They don't have the new 7 speed autos?

Can't take on the torque apparently.

Fail. It's the clutch that's the weak point, and mostly because a clutch strong enough would be horrible to use.

Fail again. The C63 AMG, like all of the 63 engined cars, is fitted with the 7G-TRONIC 7spd auto.

Yeah, I kinda remembered that the CLK63 AMG Black edition had a 7 gear one.

You fail on this. If you read properly I said turbocharged and supercharged AMGs. I think I'm right in saying that the 63 is neither of those.

Yet somehow a Hennesey Viper with 1000+ bhp and a crapload more torque can still have a manual?

I guess it's easier and cheaper to fit a Daimler part in a Mercedes-Benz than a non-Daimler part.

how much torque does that have? that's not my argument though...
Really, i was gonna say that the 5-Speed auto is a tried/tested very successful and high quality gearbox, even now it's still a very good gearbox with Merc doing their own 7-Speed.

Do 1000hp Vipers use a T56?
Isn't that the same type of gearbox that is known to fail in Holden and Falcon production-racers with 400hp?

I meant Daimler as separed of Chrysler. I don't know which gearbox use tuned Vipers, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a T56.
