The entry level models of E21 range had single headlights.

320 and 323 models had dual headlights...IIRC :)

Revo's right.The base models have single headlights (316i and 318i), the 320i and 323i had twin headlights.

True, but if you take a look at the original M3 (E30), there are major differences (remember the flared guards and the deep spoilers on the Evo models?)

where did u guys get this info from??
i had a 1979 323 bmw and it had dual lights... and the 1 light 3sereis is a bit different..i think its a bit older and a small facelift was done and then the car used the dual lights:rolleyes:

Facelift of E21 had nothing to do with headlight units.

The junior team 320. Two cars, I am not sure/doubt wether it is actually the same, the stationary one is owned by BMW, the racing one is not.
