Because my uncle has one.
Only time i did this, 190/200kms in my Trusty FIAT, going down OFC! it could go a bit more but i was afraid it would loose any mechanical or asthetic parts...
I've pulled 220kmh on my 6, needed to take in more than, had some bad vortex separation going on (i.e my helmet was shaking back and forth so badly I was having trouble seeing.)
180kph a lotta times in my skyline gtst and 260kph in my skyline GTR
125ish mph wasn't looking too hard at the speedo, around 200kph :)
30 degrees C and dry made the Scottish roads nice and sticky :)
A typical road THE best roads in the world ( not taken on this trip - but very pretty :)
Loved this tho ...... keeps all those slow-pokes out of the way !!!

Last time I was there, I watched somebody haul a caravan up the Bealach na Ba...
We kept waiting for him to get stuck, but he topped out!
Oh, and top speed to date?
130+MPH, VW Golf TDi ESTATE... I kept waiting for the limiter to kick in. It didn't. It felt utterly planted at that speed, too.
A5 dual carriageway out of Telford heading to Shrewsbury.
Slightly more than 200 KM/h in a 1.8 NA Audi A4 1998.
Close to 210 KM/h in a turbo charged Proton Wira (4G63 Engine from Galant VR-4)
About 160mph, in Dad's R. Its supposedly limited to 155 like most sportscars, but the needle went off the clock and the revs were still rising, so i think 165 is more accurate.
It made me laugh, considering its a Volvo :D.
600 mph on a Boeing 747....
315 kph , 996 turbo
240km/h in the 3000GT. It was an experience. Though since then I've been pulled over for speeding and I'm a little scared to attempt again given our rather harsh speeding laws.
180km/h in a Honda Accord years ago.

What about 'P'-platers? Find me a driving test centre that includes this on their test route!
