BMW M7 project
Was bored so I thought I'd try to convert the new F01 into a possible M7, or at the very least a standard 7 Series with a couple of M bits.
Here's the standard car:

And here's the one with bumpers, side-skirts and rims borrowed from an M3:

Not too happy with how the bumper turned out, way too dark in 800x590 size, but hope you get the idea.
So now the question is should BMW build an M7, or at least a hotted up version of it?
EDIT:
Here's the second version. Lowered it slightly, bulged the arches a bit and tried to change the side vents a bit (actually still working on the vents):

I'm not a big fan of fast boats. I draw the line with the M5.
-
yeah seriously, what is the point. if you are in a "i want a luxurious, comfy ride" mode, when is there ever going to be a situation where u need to open the taps?
^niko is right about drawing the line with the M5. if u get an M5 your probably didn't care much for comfort, just size/performance and probably quality. many situations may arise where you need to open the taps: making the m5 a good place to draw the line.

you need to lower the "M7"
-
There is a demand for them. ive seen a lot of S65s, CLS, XJRs, and some Quattroportes in dubai. it wont be a bad idea if they make them in small numbers.

Most will still go for the M5

Good point, will lower it a bit and post soon.

I think it's pretty cool Kooper - you did a clean job.
I am not sure it's appropriate, but maybe a side vent a la other Ms would be appropriate - I'd think it would be interesting to see at least.

Thanks Kitdy, I'll add some venting. :)
I was thinking bulging the wheel-arches a bit as well, though not sure how it'll look.
I'll post an updated version soon.

The twin turbo V8 is going to be quite fast. And the M badge on a 7er just doesn't sound right.
But the chop is nice. :)

That different bumper you added really balances out the large grille. I think it looks fantastic now. That angle is probably the best for that car though. And that colour.

Who said it had to be a twin turbo V8?
How about a twin turbo V12? That would worry even Mercedes Benz. :D
The chop is awesome. I do believe that BMW should make it, because Audi has a S8.
This would give it a run for its money.

Good point. I'm not sure the world needs an M7, but BMW needs something to counter the S8 and S63 (if not the S65).
Maybe a 765i with a twin-turbo V12 from the 760i. That way, they can get the power and torque to do battle with the Audi and Mercedes and still preserve what M stands for.
My guess is that they'll probably just give their unofficial blessing for someone like Alpine to bring out a B7 again.
EDIT: Forgot to say thanks for the compliment! Thanks NSXType-R :)

That's probably going to be faster than the old 760i. So an M7 should have some serious firepower under the bonnet to be justifiable over the 750i.

No problem. A simple "thank you everyone" would suffice. :D
I wonder if Audi would make a RS8 to go up against the S65 AMG. That'd be batshit crazy. (Naming might be an issue, with the R8.)

I bet it will. If it were ever made. Were there ever go fast 7 series in the past?
