Lookwise, I'd go with the focus. I don't know about handlingwise though. The mazda has better stats, but I hear the focus is great around a track.

The handling shouldnt be significantly different between them. Theyve both got the same platform so its just basically down to the fine tuning.

Indeed. That's why I favor Mazda... they do know how-to (not saying Ford doesn't, on the contrary), and that limited slip diff [I]should[/I] make it better.

Well the engines are different, so their weight should also influence the handling.
Well the MSP3 in its debut review for MotorTrend mag. The MSP3 smacked around a 2006 WRX in every catagory of the track. Im sure if the MSP3 can take out a WRX it should be no problem to jerk around the Focus RS. ^__^;
