thought i'd log back in to this super old account of mine and ask the UCP community if they know what this car is.. I'm working on an abandoned Britain photo project and coming across a fair few decaying classics but this one has me stumped - can't find any evidence of the car badge anywhere either. My first thoughts were that it could be a Hilman but the logo doesn't match.
I believe that that is a Ford Prefect, like this one:

That is somewhat disappointing as I hoped it would be interesting. The unfamiliar badge goes back to the days when some manufacturers would create a new badge for every product line, instead of the brand overall, and the badges could appear, change and disappear with each model change. I think the Japanese still do something like this domestically.
Considering the total lack of a front and the unremarkableness of the remaining rust, I would not blame anyone other than a Prefect enthusiast for not recognising it.
Wow, you, hit the nail on the head right there sir! I went through the archives of all car manufacturers known badges online and couldn't see it on there so I had wondered if it was as you say exclusively for that model. Thanks for your help :)
