I think it's a mistake making it Sequential Auto only - just completely killed the drift fans.
The front aspect is a little fugly, i think keeping the carbon swage would have been really, really good.
It's like the GT-R concept from 2003, suffering middle age spread. I'm sure it'll handle sweetly, accelerate illegally and hand some asses back to their owners, but i'm unmoved.

If you had really liked drifting, you would put a manual in.
It's kinda better that way, so the fanboys aren't so prevalent anymore.

This wont stop people doing it, or entering it into contests.

No skyline looks good dead stock :p wait for a nismo/chargespeed/anything else carbon front lip and a few new bonnet scoops etc. hotness in the making.

[B]I disagree - R32, R34 (ish....)

I'll give you Euro snob. Go fix your sunroof.

It's an AWD car, not best drift option if you ask me...
It IS pretty lame that there's no manual available though.

being AWD never stopped anyone :)

lol, what did your BMW need to have fixed again? :p

meh, won't they just use the 350Z/V35 skyline then? like how they use R34 four doors etc rather than GTR's

The 4 door R34 is RWD? I didn't know that.
The 4 door R34 is RWD? I didn't know that.
they're all RWD except for the GTR and the GT-4/GTS-4
i'd assume drifters would just use the V35 thingy?
-
it looks better now the black stuff under the headlamps are gone but the grill is still ugly. the back end does not seem to fit with the rest of the car.
-
Looks decent, I wish they kept the carbon fiber bumper....wheels are a tad on the big side(15" brake discs looks tiny in those...same size brake if not the same braking system as most of the GT racing cars these days), the drivetrain layout looks funny, and they mentioned carbon propshaft betweet engine and transaxle, but howabout the 2nd propshaft between the transfercase and the front diff....what with u-joints and all...
-
No manual, don't care. Stupid move on their part; however I'm sure they'll pull a BMW and sneak in a manual option a year after the fact, once they realise their stupidity.
Other than that, it's pretty cool. I'd paint the ugly black grill piece body colour, and call it a day. Rather, I'd get it in black (the best car colour, for any car) problem solved.
I hope its handling is in the same vein as the rest of the car - the Skyline, on an entirely new and higher level.
Nissan's only 'mistake' seems to be dropping the Skyline name (yes I know it's used on the V35...)
