I dont think it gained any weight though (correct me if I'm wrong). I guess the exterior styling of the old one wasnt so bad. The interior is better than the old one but I cant say I like the cheap...
At least all the BMW's I know have all of the above except for the spare. I agree and it is shame because the BMWs my family has owned before all had spares.
Perhaps but since they are releasing a new car (maybe its the Dino) or:
1987+ F40
1995-1997 F50
2007 ? (unless the Enzo counts as the F60 which it might as well be).
Interesting. I mean I knew there was powerful estate cars but I had no idea BMW made one so long ago.
You are correct and since they only sell the 5 door the S3 will be unavailable for the time being here. What I don't understand about them being afraid to hurt VW R32 or GTI sales is that they sell...
Well if the FXX is any indication the car will be a beast (should I be safe in saying north of 800 hp)?
Sorry to bring up an old thread but it turned into a kind of discussion of grammar and Australians. Since BMW is now bringing diesel cars into the US might we also be seeing a launch of the 1 series...
Ok...
Anyway seems there is a new segment of super touring/estate cars with the M5 touring, the E63 AMG touring, the S6 (and soon RS6) Avant, and the RS4 avant. 5 years ago this was almost...
Err I don't think you can use that one (Columbia) which unfortunately disintegrated over Texas in 2003.
The states why?
What you dont keep your cars for more then 100k? Jeez we have GMC truck with almost 340k (kilometers) and it works fine. I dont think you will have to many problems with it but the 8000 RPM blowing...
Perhaps but there still is a fair amount of petrol cars sold. Also I have heard that there is tax incentives given for diesel and hence a slightly cheaper price then petrol in Europe anyway.
I would bet the Crown Vic since ford is actually selling the Five Hundred to people other then the police and taxi drivers.
Funny how the American car company's best cars are not even sold in the US (Euro focus, Falcon, Commodore, etc)
I know I have asked this somewhere but in Europe there are separate standards for the two fuels right? Why that is not the case in the states still baffles me.
Not sure about all of the cars but
F430: $178,906
M6: $98,600
Cl600: $144,200
LP640: around $320,000
Too late!! Audi supposedly is planning a diesel V12 R8.
Audi V12 TDi produces like 730+ lb-ft of torque
another the E320 Bluetec has close to 400 with the BMW 3.5 liter turbo 6 diesel pumping 412 or something (the list goes on). Way more torque then...
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I read about rumors of a diesel V12 R8 (probably reflecting Audi's wins at Le Mans this year). Has anyone else heard this?
yeah I'll just look up "black market" on Google and get their number...
Just curious but have any of you imported a car that was originally built for the European market to the US? In particular I was wondering about Alpina cars in the US (ones other then the Alpina...
"As a means of producing so much power with a minimum of environmental impact and a maximum of fuel efficiency, it’s no surprise that BMW will be among the first to introduce 50-state clean diesel...
Not really since it is neither sold nor built here.
I voted against BMW! Gasp! M5 is way to ugly and quite a bit larger I must say.
