Can't believe it took two pages for someone to point out that BMW have been making them for years!
This will be the first to be available in RHD, though.

*Joins in sighage* Me too. I post on Pistonheads now...
There is no 'should have' in F1, only 'did' and 'did not', Barrichello did not make Button look stupid this season and will not do so in 2007 either.
Even though it didn't open a floodgate of wins, he did score more points than anyone else in the remaining races of the season, so they don't totally cancel each other out. ;)
Can we create a 'cock waving' forum for this to be moved to please? Rich twats razzing across continents in cars they can't handle doesn't really qualify as 'racing'.
Tracks are for racing, streets are for travelling - it really is as simple as that. When you pile off a track you hit a barrier, when you prang on the road you hits someone's house, car, business or...
One small problem... you can't do 250mph at Nardo :)
You'll be needing Ehra-Lessien for that, VW's own test track. Mind you, if you'd given them a million quid for a car, I'm sure they'd be happy...
Just 500 in total. It is utterly gorgeous... the first new, modern (not 'retro-inspired'), traditionally beautiful car in years.
I don't think BTCC (basically production cars, 2.0L 300 bhp); V8 Supercars (600bhp monsters); DTM (single seaters with a car body plonked on top) and NASCAR (1000bhp push-rod driven bodied rollcages)...
Absolutely, but the older cars looked so much more like the road cars that you saw in dealers, rather than the pages of Max Power! Then Alfa showed up with wings and splitters and ruined it.

Of course not!
Anyway, when was the last time a proper race-bred engine appeared in a 'not supercar'?
I want them to put the engine in the R8 road car, and I'll take 23mpg on the...
Top notch... just one small suggestion on this one...

Good plan, give it a try when you have the replacement ready, so if it does go horribly wrong, or you hate it, you can just stuff the new one on there.
I actually haven't got round to that bit yet... why, is it the same as that?
That remains to be seen. One thing that can definitely be said is that Kimi is just as quick as Schumi.
Yeah, alright maybe it was a little...

Still the rest more than holds water.
There are much worse things in this world than smoking. Apparently spending a day kicking about in London equates (in terms of the number and severity of the toxins you inhale) to smoking about...
£360,000 could by you...
A 997 GT3RS for the weekend (£100,000), a BMW M5 for the week (£70,000), A Tim Harvey Sierra RS500 BTCC car (£45,000), a Supercharged Range Rover to tow it with (£100,000...
Apparently Philip Morris (Marlboro) were pushing hardest for those two to partner up... rumour has it they even offered to pay their salaries!
Quite.
Alonso just isn't rising to the pressure... pissing and moaning about that grid penalty was perfectly understandable pre-race (the penalty was a load of b*llocks, don't you think?), but to keep on...
Unfortunately, the first one is (partial) crap.
The bends are there to make sure all the pipes are the same length, so that the gases exitting the cylinders are even across all (in that case) ten...
AT the end of the season... having won his eighth WDC
Stupid comparison...try engaging your brain before you start typing in future.
Oh. My. God. I am so surprised by this...
Never saw it coming.... rather pissed of with James Allen for ruining the moment by telling everyone that he'd told his mechanics... I even...
