I have seen just two new M3 coupè so far, and none sedan. IMO these updates were required, a lot of people, not proper car enthusiasts of course, forgot about the M3 sedan so maybe the new model didn't sell well. but I still find stupid to refresh a car so young.

Besides, it looks much better now. The sedan used to be a bit awkward. Now it isn't anymore.

BTW, according to C and D, the Z4M and coupe versions are going to die out. Just wanted to put that out there.
I understand it for the regular saloon and estate but the M3 saloon was almost new. In fact I haven't seen any on the road. Also all the people who have bought an "old" M3 saloon aren't going to be happy.

A shame about the Z4M, I loved the straight six.

Well, cars are similar to electronics now. You can't keep up with the new products.

Just take a look at the Buggati Veyron.

The Z4M was a very cool car. It might be because it 's arriving the end of the model lineup though and the new one is just about to come out. The Audi RS4 and S4 is dead too, but that's because there's a new A4 out.

But that straight 6 engine certainly is special. It's the same one from the last generation M3.

I know and it felt like a proper BMW engine, raw and mechanical.

And the Z4 itself may not be the best looking car in the world but it's a good drive definitely.

the sound of the engine was worth the money alone.

Well the Z4 M coupe's best lines really came from that shapely rear end. The headlights were awkward in the coupe version, but seemingly alright on the convertible.

At least now we can look for Z4Ms on the cheap because they're out of production now!

Ive haven't seen any new M3s on the road yet but I went to the local dealer and saw both the coupe and sedan side by side and have found I like the sedan more than the 2 door. Looks best in black over black with the smaller and darker 18" wheels (and a proper manual of course).
