    It's an Audi thing...

Does this actually replace the standard Rapide? Or will it be sold alognside the standard car?

In any case, it still looks like any other Aston from the last ten (twenty if we include the DB7) years...

I believe this one comes next to the Rapide, like the old Vanquish and the Vanquish S existed together.
You could say this looks like any Aston from the last 20 years.
But looking back at AM history, the produced the Aston Martin V8 from 1969–1989. (also 20 years.)

(it's nothing more than a facelift, I was misinformed)

That grille is getting all up in my grill.

    Or something. It's ridiculous anyway.

Yes but this was the same car, same model.

What Aston Martin is doing now (a myriad of different models and names which look pretty much exactly the same) is just ridiculous.

    Probably.

I wonder if the Italian equity firm that has bought Aston Martin will finally change (or evolve) the styling once and for all.

Geez man, they put a new grill on it, how much more different could it get?! Clearly the plan is to evolve it into a 207. Or Pac-Man.

Even going from this to this was too drastic a change. I fear that Aston is currently undergoing a Lotus-esque overexpansion by introducing two grilles to the company stable.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

At least they've kept it to two so far.. though you know, I'm not sure where Danny Bahahahar ended up.. hopefully he's not been brought into the grille department!

Now that Lotus have (uncomprehensively) let him go Aston Martin should hire Bahahaha.

Then launch new Aston Martin Photocopier Heating Radiador edition.

    Or something.
