I like the use of technology in this concept. It would be great to see it applied to a road car.
After checking the pictures, they've done a good job of keeping the basics of the XJ13's design. I wouldn't mind seeing this built but I doubt Jaguar would do it.

From the front, it looks like a badly made die-cast model of a McLaren F1. When you take a step back, those enormous wheels makes it look like some muscle car. Then you get to the back... which is probably the most beautiful rear ends ever.

It's one hell of a combination.

The styling could've been done a little bit better. Looks like a concept from the late 90's/early '00s.

perhaps that is why I liked it....

Hm, you'd think that a car that supposedly takes design cues from the XJ13 would look somewhat exciting.
This looks extremely forgettable, in my opinion.

I liked it in comparison to the other cars I was confronted with yesterday. (and yes, I had to resample my pictures to remember what it looked like, when you work you routinely shoot the car at a busy event like this, with camera crews trying to occupy all space, without bothering too much how it looks)
The first part I saw of the car was the rear and the XJ resemblence was direct. The rest of the car has its own cues, but still looks better than any of the shown Lotusses, or the Lambo.

I have say I agree....its nice that there a quite a few interesting concepts this year, but I think this one to me is most interesting, next to the Audi Quattro. You can definitely see XJ13 in there, but the drivetrain concept is more forward looking that the others....

I wasn't sure I liked it at first but now that I've skimmed through these pictures, I have changed my mind. It looks good.
