    Hennessey ZR700 Corvette

So remember that Hennesey Camaro with the tuned LS9? This is their ZR1 with it.

The massaged LS9 features a upgraded supercharger pulley and blower snout (boosting boost from 11 psi to 14 psi), and intercooler upgrade, K and N air filter, stainless steel headers, high flow cats, and a reprogrammed ECU. This results in 705 hp and 717 lb-ft of torque; the quarter mile in 11.03 @ 136 mph.

Another further pumped up ZR1 is in the works called the ZR750 with 755 hp and 730 lb-ft.

As much as I admire the car, I would never in a million years hand anything over to Hennesey.

I really do like the car though.

It's not all about power. You also need handling to match it.

Yeah that's kind of my point. I'm not really impressed. You can always stick more horses under the hood. But do you need to?

    Thank you, sir!
That being said, I really like the Ford GT 1000hp that they did.

That's about the only impressive thing they've built in recent years. Their Vipers have pretty much become the same thing as the older ones.

I'm not pointing out that the ZR1's handling is bad but to see my point.

Try a 1000 hp muscle car with stock suspension in it and try to drive it around a windy track.

Let's see if unnecessarily added power will help your laptimes.

Wonder if Hennessey will ever embrace alternate energies? Highly doubt it.

Those are unheard of in Texas. The only alternative fuel there is Chuck Norris' fury.
