    cause the vette has 400 horsepower, is within the cost limit you set, and can get nearly 30 miles to the gallon on the highway where roadsters are happiest.
    EDIT: not too mention it handles almost as well as the new carrera 911.

    Because both are more expencive, and eat much more fuel. And BTW, yes the corvette has a traction control and stability control.

    yes the corvette is probably the best car you can get for under 45 grand. lots of ponies. i also like the 2001 lotus elise alot, it's only 33k

    Thats a used car...
    Like I posted before, for used I could get a 30K C5 Z06 in perfect condition, or even an older Viper in great condition for that much.

    I could get a '58 Cadillac Eldorado Seville for about that much, maybe even a '59, not sure. So I'll go with that. Or at least a Coupe DeVille.

    I would buy a C6, but unfortunately, in Italy it costs more than 60000 €!!
    I'd take a used 996 for that money (if I can find one for that price: I hope yes!!! )
