    It's not that light. We're speaking about a 1750kg executive saloon, with an engine that's not exactly cutting edge and an automatic. Considering that with my driving the Mini is already at 10-11l/100km (24-21mpg), it's normal that the Jag is turning that sort of figures.

    Well it already has 12.000km, so I guess it's been already run in. Altough the non-economic driving temptation is there alright...

    I think I confused it with the old XJ that was all aluminum.
    Jag needs to start offering manuals again. Manuals can be luxurious with a little work, just make the gearchange extremely slick and make the clutch nice and light.

    I personally think that a gear lever and three pedals would suit this car a lot.
