    Thats crazy awesome. I like shooting brakes, rarely do I seem to find them looking nasty.

    I was always convinced it was Shooting-Brake, but then other people in here were determined it was 'break' when the subject came up the other day. Now I'm just confused.

    I've been confused about it too, but that website I posted above seems to explain it. Variations occur in written and spoken language, what can you do? *shrugs*

    The 'Break' version of the word seems to have become defunct now though, replaced by 'Brake' in common usage. All of the Shooting Brakes/Breaks in the hideout are 'Brake' it seems, barring this thread of course...

    I personally think it's Shooting Brake, as even Aston Martin (the daddies) write it like that... if it was an official Aston Martin site I read it on
