So far i've seen TWO !!! count em !! 2 Lotus Elises this month in my town. One was yellow and one was black.

Also consider that i've never seen a Lotus Elise before until I saw these two which was awesome. Didn't see them in the same day but I did see them in the same month which is pretty sweet knowing that i've never seen one or should i say 2 up in till this month. But seeing to cars that you've never seen before in the same month in the same town is just KUUHHH RAYY Z ! to me but yet so very sweet !

    Haha, I wish!

Unfortunately, you still can't get 'em in Canada. It pisses me off beyond belief. Same reason that we never got the Toyota MR-2 Spyder - some 8km/h bumper regulation. Seriously lame.

For now, I'll have to stick to my 944

I believe we have the same law, but the Elise is sold, I believe, without proper bumpers. However, this is for a limited time; back before the Elise arrived in the US, I remember hearing how Lotus was getting the requirement waived (probably for a limited time) because it would cause "undue financial burden" or something like that.

i saw an exige a few weeks ago, on a truck... i thought it was being delivered but then i saw the back of the car and it was smashed!

EDIT: just noticed something. The guy who's driving (in rijoh's pics) appeared on Top Gear once and showed JC how to properly drive the elise
