But then Dad wrapped his '82 Civic around a parking garage support column . That solved that dilemma fairly efficiently.

The car is still in the family, I even learned to drive in it. I suppose in comparison to most cars, it's not that fast, but it was definitely faster than our minivan, and tons more fun to drive. Whenever I was driving it, I tended to treat it like a sports car. It even gave me my first (and so far only) experience in stoplight drag-racing (I lost). These days it's in custody of my sister, and I'm kinda disappointed that she doesn't take better care of it.

    I love that car.

I like all Hondas too, though I prefer Civic.

Are you asking me? If so, the reason I prefer Civic cause it's small and fun to drive. I had two Civics.

I saw a very nice one of these today; I'm so used to seeing them with sunbaked or peeling paint and mismatched panels that I've forgotten that these are pretty handsome cars underneath.
Especially when someone goes to the effort of clearing the sunscratches from the lenses of the headlights, these don't look as old as they are.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
