Only time i did this, 190/200kms in my Trusty FIAT, going down OFC! it could go a bit more but i was afraid it would loose any mechanical or asthetic parts...

I've pulled 220kmh on my 6, needed to take in more than, had some bad vortex separation going on (i.e my helmet was shaking back and forth so badly I was having trouble seeing.)

Last time I was there, I watched somebody haul a caravan up the Bealach na Ba...
We kept waiting for him to get stuck, but he topped out!

Oh, and top speed to date?

130+MPH, VW Golf TDi ESTATE... I kept waiting for the limiter to kick in. It didn't. It felt utterly planted at that speed, too.

About 160mph, in Dad's R. Its supposedly limited to 155 like most sportscars, but the needle went off the clock and the revs were still rising, so i think 165 is more accurate.
It made me laugh, considering its a Volvo .

240km/h in the 3000GT. It was an experience. Though since then I've been pulled over for speeding and I'm a little scared to attempt again given our rather harsh speeding laws.

What about 'P'-platers? Find me a driving test centre that includes this on their test route!
