I put down a deposit for this game a year ago..... I heard they stripped the online playing functions, and delayed it again until Feb 2005!
I'm not sure I'm so interested anymore.... playing the computer get's boring quickly..... online play would be incredible with this game....

as far as i heard they scrapped the online mode till the PS3 comes out.

I'm still interested in this game though, although they got rid of online capabilities i've heard that they've made the AI a hell of alot better that the previous game. and the fact that it has over 650 cars and 50 tracks i still can't wait

haha Need For Speed Underground 2 track racing is almost as unrealistic as GT2
ok maybe not that bad but it will never touch even gt3

im even thinking of canceling order now and selling PS2, hardly ever go on it and ill prob get bored of GT4 after a few weeks like most other games

gt4 was suposed to be the shit!! i heard a while back (after gt3 came out ) that it was going to be completely different from the previus gt games. revolutionary they said. with REAL damage, tyre marks, porsches ferraris and all that stufff.
then started the deceptions.
no licences for porsches ferraris, or lambos were gotten. no real damage. no tire marks. the date kept being pushed backwards. deception after deception after decetion. now the online play is scrapped. whats next?
are they going to take the bloody cars away too?

I never got bored of GT3, play it almost every day, get a car, put on simulation tires and play a bit
I hoped they'd put it out in december, i have publicity pages to it in some magazines anouncing they'd release it in december... really weird.
Just a few more months then...
