    oh yeah, clk gtr, and the cgt1. doesnt lotus have something in the same class as the cgt1 and clkgtr?

    That was the GT1 class which was a whole different kettle of fish to the current GT cars.

    Lotus had GT1 versions of the Esprit and Elise, which had a V8 rather than the standard 4 cyl. Neither were particularly successful IIRC

    ok, it was not the lister. it was a car in the same class as the clk gtr and cgt1 (gt1 class, right? please say wether thats right)

    They dropped out after 7 laps with gearbox problems.

    It is supposed to be racing in the FIA GT and Le Mans series GTS class, along with the other cars mentioned, but it doesn't actually comply with the rules for either.

    Apparently the overhangs are too long for the FIA and it is too wide for the ACO.
