    No, you dont "need" an SUV, but you do need some ground clearence. BTW alot of the SUVs sold over here are 4X4.

    EDIT: every SUV in the poll except the BMW is 4x4...

    Your general car on the street will have "some" ground clearance, ive seen heaps of people over here that'd take cars and vans offroad to some places, theres this big abandoned bit of land the army used to own that heaps of people go dirtbike riding on and theyve taken old vans and cars down. Shit ive even been down a reasonable sort of 4wd track just to see a Ford Transit at the end

    Yeah but the mercedes is around £75,000 and it looks to old fashioned. Even though it can go most places and is very fast

    It is old fashioned it was introduced in 1979.

    It is an absolute beast, I wouldn't say no. (I'd have to be a proper version mind, none of this AMG nonsense)
