From the small pictures, it does look exactly like the old GTS. However, when looking at the larger picture, the difference stands out better. I kinda like that.

basically, the new viper coupe, is an srt-10, except the entire peice that the roadster was missing was designed to look exactly like the one on an old gts viper, and also the viper coupe comes in true viper colors, blue with white stripes (classic gts colors, purposefully to match the colors of an original shelby cobras famous colors)

ok, one thing about the top few posts. this is NOT the gts. the gts was the generation 2 vipers, the srt-10 is generation 3. different generations, different engines, different chassis, different transmissions, etc. all they did to the viper, was take a gts top and stick it on an srt-10 and give it the famous blue and white stripes that the shelby cobra/viper gts were famous for.

It doesn't look new or aggressive enough and the stance is as high as some SUV's....what's up with that?

its high above the ground? its the same as the srt-10 for that, which is aprox. 5 inches, tops. aggresive enough? see one in real life, if you have, then look at it this way. the gts was more like passive aggresive ring fighter, it had serious power, and had the looks to go with it, but it just wasnt flexing its muscles. the srt-10 is like that same fighter or whatever, who just got seriously f'ed up and is now about to go on a serious rampage.

The first generation Viper/GTS had unique character, this one looks like too many other cars on the road, too tame.
