that color scheme was done on purpose, not cause it looked cool. the blue with white stripes were the famous colors of the gts viper. this was done further because the viper is once again showing the shelby cobra in its blood (blue with white were the shelbys colors too)

thats basically exactly what the shelby and gts had. so anything different would mess up the point of bringing up the srt-10s ancestry

The classic "American" race colours are white with thw two blue stripes denoting the chassis rails. Looks like Dodge chose to mix it up a bit.

Yes, but the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe ran the blue with white stripes. The original GTS took its inspiration from the Daytona Coupe, hence the color choice.

From the back, it actually looks like a muscle car and the back isn't changed enough for a person to notice that it is a newer version (not that it doesn't look good). Also, on the first picture, the windshield looks to be at a high angle...not low like on normal supercars.
