    Ya, but thats only because they are used on cars like these.
    I dont think you guys are quite getting the ricer thing... If your $400,000 supercar has the same type of things on it that a ricer would put on his/her car, the only reason is because hes mimicing you.

    I suppose the only point of existence you could label these with is less space to open the door.
    If you HAVE to 'upgrade' the doors, make them suicide. Classic, easy to do, cheaper, and better looking.

    BTW a fun fact for you is that the DeLorean's door only required about 6 inches of space to open.

    Sometimes. They do look good on some 4 door cars, like the mazda RX-8 style, but once you venture into 2-door teritorry they start to look very ugly. My 0.02$.

    i think scissor doors look great on anything exotic or rare.

    on a honda civic they look so so crap, but on a kleenman they are awesome.
