BMW Announces 2 New Model Lines

BMW announces two new model lines
Posted Mar 3, 2005, 11:43 AM ET by David Thomas

Geneva got an extra dose of buzz when BMW announced, officially, a new line pf people haulers and a line of small coupes and convertibles. The “space-functional concepts” look awful in these renderings. They’ll carry a “V” designation and won’t go by the X6 as was rumored earlier. But they will be built in the Spartanburg, S.C. plant. The other news also confirms wild rumors. The return of a small coupe and convertible, in the vein of the new European 1 Series, has been eagerly awaited by enthusiasts. Hopefully, we’ll see some better images of this new coupe. And even more hope churns that these will come to the U.S.

For some reason, that second one in gold actually doesnt look THAT bad to me, at least not compared to the other Bangle Bungles.

Hmmm.......I just can't see how even the rich can stand what they buy sometimes. At least they A) still look like the normal BMW's, and B) they share alot of traits. I don't really like it when a company does not have this one distinguising trait, that sets it apart from its competitors.

EDIT: The trait has to be on most, but not all vehicles though.

Bmw are not just for the rich you think all rich people buy Bmw's. I'm living in Germany now and every 4th or 5th car you see is a Bmw you cant say there is that much rich people in Germany and thats just Bmw then you have Audi, Vw, Mercedes, Porsche ect.
some Bmw you get for free my dad gets old E21 Bmw for nothing.

Yes, which is why here in America, everyone including the poor guy's in the ghetto who have a job at an auto factory drives a BMW to work. Also, I am basing this off of people I personally know. The guy bought his BMW, and he actually forgot how much it cost like 2 weeks after he paid. It was a 760il.
You forget that here in America, german cars cost alot more here then in Europe.
