World Speed Record To B Broken (again) by CCR

i got this article in a local english auto magazine called Wheels:

on February 28, the Koenigsegg CCR claimed the production road car speed record, achieving a new top speed of 387.87 km/h at Italy's Nardo Protopito proving ground.
A team of 5 Koenigsegg engineers and mechanics together with founder Christian von Koenigsegg ran a technically standard Koenigsegg CCR to take the record. Test driver Loris Bicocchi, a veteran recorder breaker, drove the car.
The Koenigsegg CCR broke the official McLaren F1 record of 386.7 km/h set at VW's Ehra facility in Wolfsburg, Germany.
The official test report issued by the Protopito facility has been forwarded to the Guinness Book of World records for processing. Speaking Exclusively to Wheels, Christian von Koenigsegg said: "The next big milestone is 400 km/h and if we could find the right location in Dubai and secure the correct permits we'd love to take a shot at this target over there".

this is a piece of old news, other threads have been dealing with that extensively already. May be the magazine was a bit late in reporting

it wouldn't be surprised if Koenigsegg got close to 400kmh, at the Nardo bowl the extra friction on the wheels from the curving surface meant that it hit that max speed with a few hundred rpm left, but the extra friction stopped it using them, so on a straight track it might hit their claimed 395kmh
