That paint scheme has become standard for Ford high-performance showcars. But I can see why -- I looks terrific.
That being said, if they really wanted to honour the Le Mans winners, maybe they should have used black and silver since that was the scheme used on the McLaren/Hulme car that won. Or maybe they're avoiding it to keep people from remembering the controversy surrounding that so-called victory that was stolen from their teammates.
