Moshing to the new Carpathian album. Brutal.

"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"

It's aight except for X
His earlier more ****ed-up stuff was much more interesting. As a solo performer definitely Mockingbird or Like Toys Soldier. Some of his hardcore stuff like The Way I Am is cool too.
It's almost horrorcore.
Encore was alright but my fav is Slim Shady LP.
Listen to The Re-Up, if you haven't, it's got some cool stuff.
It's also got Curtis muthaphukkin Jackson.

First song that got me into rap was Still D.R.E. back in '99, so 2001 is the first ever rap album I heard. Then I bought The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show. Those 3 albums are the reasons I love rap.
There are no songs I don't like of him, only a couple I'm less a fan of (Ass Like That and Fack for example, too stupid )
'97 Bonnie & Clyde and Kim are definitely horrorcore, took me a few tries before I listened to Kim entirely. It's awfully powerful.
I approve Slim Shady LP, great album. I also like his earlier stuff - Infinite and the Slim Shady EP - dude wasn't really sure how he wanted to sound like so it's kind of an hybrid between a white dude and Nas + AZ. A milkshake of that. Or something.
I heard Re-Up, for a mixtape it has a lot potential
Can't wait for the Big 4 albums in 2009, Relapse, Detox, Before I Self Destruct and The Blueprint 3. Don't push it back further, Dre. FFS.

I'm definately looking forward to Detox. Have been for 9 years.
I got into rap listening to The Eminem show. (Most white dudes our age did, I'd bet)
Listened to Eminem only(rap-wise) for about a year and got sick of it. Then, after a year off from rap, a friend lent me The Chronic. My mind was blown.
After that I only listened to G-Funk for probalby two years. Then a couple years ago, I started listening to non-West Coast rap, and that's where I am now.
Fortunately, I listened to Em's stuff backward, so I actually heard his less intense more recent stuff before his older stuff.
