    Lightbulb M5 Engine

The M5 is supposedly going to be powered by a 510 hp V10 and for the Formula One fans around (including myself) it is a masterpiece in the making. Always like to see a V10 Normally Aspirated Engine in any car.

There's no doubt in my mind that the new M5 will be a serious performer, but I still can't take the new looks seriously. Those wheels are so cartoony. As I said before, the 5-series looks like a Hyundai Elantra on Valium. It just so happens that this one looks like an Elantra on Valium and steroids.

Don't get me wrong, when my eyes are embedded in the back of my skull during WOT acceleration, I probably won't really care what it looks like Otherwise though, I probably will.

I've seen quite a few of the new 5 series, and I love them. But I think that Bangle's designs are great, designs of which others don't really care much for. I think with his designs you either love them or hate them. I can't wait to see this new M5 though!

You keep saying this about the looks arn't an issue and if its got a very good engine, which it is (that was very hard for me to say ) it doesn't matter, however it is clear to me that looks do matter if they won't to sell these cars, no ones gonna buy an ugly car. I agree with SL 500 looks very much like a jap car. A big ricey import.

Looks like a cheap, tacky, 3rd rate conversion from sum bum shop. Not an M5.
