    Danm what an amazing experiance. I haven't riddenin any exotic cars, but I consider just sitting in them somthing special!

    I have heard that the car has great excellereation but it starts to lack a bit when it comes to handling. Is this true?

    Oh and you said that this was your neighbors car, does he have any other exotics? I'd love to see some photos, but no rush

    why is the bonnet so long? i saw a cross section from merc/mclaren and the engine is really quite far back, so why the long bonnet? (other then making the car really ugly)

    Yes I´m from Sweden and both me, my father and my neighbour are Mercedes lovers, my father has a CL 55 AMG and a old 300 SL and we are looking forward to our new CLS AMG, but i Really miss our SL 55 amg that we had a year ago

    My Neighbour has: SL 500, SL 55 AMG, BMW Z3 M, Z8, Porsche Cayenne turbo, 996 turbo, Bentley GT and some other cars

    My father has:CL 55 AMG, E 55 AMG , 300 SL, 300 SL cab, 3 old military cars that he uses when he hunt

    It's to move the centre of mass closer to the middle of the car. It's trying to achieve a similar effect to a mid-engined car in that they want to position the engine such that its weight is evenly distributed over the wheels. The only way to do this with a front-engined car is to make the bonnet unusually long and place the engine as far back as possible (as you described). So basically, it's for better handling and balance.
