    Layerd Haircut

I was wondering what it means to have your hair layerd ? Does it mean they just cutt off the sides and leave the top long or do they cut all the hair the same length ???

Er... I think it applies to girls' hair From looking at my girlfriend after she says she has had her hair layered, I think it means cutting long hair to different lengths - possibly around the face...

could be wrong, maybe it was something else I didn't notice...

I friggin hate layers! I have long hair and when I go to the hairdressers, all they do is say "I know, lets put more layers in!". Im gonna go to some hairdressers who actually know how to style hair .. gonna get me a mutt cut baby!

Edit : Blokes can have layers, but most of the time it looks really really sh*t (as is evident on me .. luckily ive got away with very few layers).

jesus, common sense needed here people!

you have different lengths of hair ontop and underneath to give it a textured finish, like i do have it hanging over my right eye n towards the right. simple!

im tellin ya ta do a shape up-they box your forehead hairline area, pick your sideburns, and trim the whole rear-everything else is a regular, forward combed, haircut

slightly, its best to when its long-ish, stop its growing into a sort of mop style.

So you just tell them to layer it or do you also tell them to like take off an inch or something ?

I wanna try layering cuse like the hair from the back of the top of my head goes like all the way to the bangs which I don't like... So it's like they just cut off the edges of the hair...
