That hideous. Modern stadiums are a travisty.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

but for a modern stadium, it doesn't look too bad... it's not as hideous as the Amsterdam Arena...

The Kuip in Rotterdam is what a stadium should look like.

i couldn't have agreed more ..the atmosphere in there is almost always very good... and with a nice team playing there (Feyenoord) it couldn't have been better

The new stadium in munich is a pure soccer heaven. Build for maximum entertainment for the fans.
You can almost touch the players in the first ranks. IMO only the Barca stadium comes close to this...
But Barca doesn't have the show effect of the glowing lights

it looks like a luminous donut to me

and no, old trafford isnt the best in the world. The Maracana in Rio de Janeiro is generally regarded as the world's largest football stadium

However, Anfield is the best stadium in the world for sheer spirit and the kop is the most famous part of any stadium in the world...."This is Anfield"

This has just turned into a matter of opinion, and in my opinion the JJB is the greatest stadium in the world.

Yeah, went to the JJB last month to watch my team (Sunderland) give your boys a good beating!

Was quite a nice little stadium but shame about the location, seemed to be in an out of town retail park! Also shame you don't have enough fans to fill the stadium! [ducks for cover!]

Obviously, in my completely unbiased opinion, the Sunderland Stadium of Light is the best in the world!
