A little something I've been toying with lately... converting media pics in to "cartoons" for lack of a better word... lemme know what you think...

Not a bad job, any chance of making your yellow a bit more vivid?

sure, it looks ok on my screen, but I "tuned up the color" a bit on the car... try this one...Originally Posted by Vaigra

much better thanx
Maybe it just looks weird because of the TFT screen on the laptop and the angle at which i can look at it can vary quite a bit.
Have you done any more cartooning?

Yeah, I've got a side shot of an F430 (lemme dig it up) and I've got one of a 360 CS that's a front 3/4 shot (it's on my PC at home though...)

EDIT: I know the gas cap cover is "off" I just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet...

Awesome job!!
I like it, just needs brake callipers now looks naked without them lol
How long does it take for you to do one?

here is another one I did of the F430 (note, the tire is original, I just "kept" it...)
yeah, I'm working on getting more detailed... but, of course, the more detail the longer it takes to "draw" and fill/shade...
Depending on the car and the detail between 2 and 5 hours (estimated) I do them when I'm working, so I'm not working on them non-stop... but if I were to add the time just working on it, 2-5 hours is a pretty good estimate I think...

that's really good work. Keep it up and hope to see a couple more soon
Thanx for sharing
I might try one. Do you know where I can get a tutorial apart from the one on digimods?
