    well
    in my mind every one remembers the fiat multipla maybe for the wrong reasons but people still know it.

    then i also agree with the VW beetle that car is known all over the world, so thats probably it.

    badge
    well every one knows the mercedes badge and you cant say no cause you do,
    ferrari maybe is known but ask your mothers or aunts what the ferrari badge looks like and what the mercedes badge looks like i bet that they will deffinatly know the mercedes badge

    A good way of knowing if a car is recognised by "people" is showing a picture of the car (or the car itself) to your mother and asking her if she knows what it is.

    I hate to say it but I agree that most poeple will know a Beatle when they see it or even hear it. Same for the VW badge

    Well everyone knows a Ferarri when they see one. Who can mistake them? Everyone in the world knows what a Ferarri is!

    Ya, most of my friends who see a nice car no matter what it is will say "look a ferarri' or "look a Lambo"
    no matter what it is,
    I'd say the beatle.
