? I'm lost. That was my point, agreeing with your earlier post: smaller engine ---> less weight = Faster

I dont know what to say really.

I love teh SRT-10 because of its bold style and sound, and the major pay off of an american engine, TORQUE!!!
I also love the lambo for teh same reason, other than the decent lack of torque. It has 1 up over the srt-10 because of the tranny and teh badge.
The M5, i dono. I like the last one WAY more because of the styling. Other than that the M5 is amazing in all catagorys (other than the obvious 192nm of torque..)

I vote lambo, just for shits and giggles.

The Viper's V10 has the potential to put out A LOT more HP then the "only" 500hp it puts out right now. Because of the new Z06 Corvette being so powerful and fast, I bet Dodge will unveil the new Viper within the next year having somewhere around 600hp or so. Dodge wants their Viper to be faster then the Vette. Just wait and see, that V10 engine will be pushing more power...no problems.

They also checked the weight and tested the acceleration of the cars.

I'll post a pic of the measured data sheet tomorrow.
I got the issue of SportAuto as well, may be it is also revealing to give the laptimes achieved on the short Hockenheim course:

    M6: 1.14.4
    Viper: 1.14.3
    Gallardo: 1.11.8

So the Gallardo may be lacking straight line speed, in handling it far outpaces the other two.

it actually means very little, as the Viper has been clearly designed as a two seat non compromise sports car, while the BMW is a refined gran tourismo, with two additional seats, and weighing almost 200 kg more than the Viper. If it means anything then only that the viper's chassis is way behind the BMW in absolute handling capabilities. You may also have seen that it takes the BMW almost two seconds less to reach 200 kph than the Viper.

the new coupe hasnt even started production, i seriously doubt they will intorduce a new viper after only 3 yesr of production on the current one when the old viper ran for 9 years
