    Car Comparison Forum Suggestion !

I've noticed quite a few people making threads in the 'Car Comparison Forum' where they will just post up the cars they are comparing without leaving any other info such as the price, performance figures, or even pictures to compare with.

So I was thinking that there should be a 'sticky thread' in the 'Car Comparison Forum' detailing what should be required in a thread when comparing two cars or more, otherwise it will/should be deleted.

I thought this idea may prevent alot of these crap threads from occuring in that section and would stop me/other people from having to ask the poster to post up more info about the cars they are comparing everytime one of these threads comes up. This idea would also make it easier for people to compare the comparing cars without having to go searching for both the cars specs or other info about them to come to there decision.

If you have any other imput or advice/comments you would like to add or share about this idea, go right ahead and don't forget to cast a vote in the poll !

I like the idea, maybe if Wouter approves the "Sticky" as we already have one in the Car Comparison forum, we could give it a go.

    Edit: Approved

Let's use this thread to gather ideas.

Make the new thread when done and I'll stick the hell out of it

All right, how about the post MUST include the followingThis will be like a minimum)
-1 picture of each car in the comparison
-The engine size and horsepower for each car
    -0-60 time

There can be more that more people can say after this, but then if the information is not available for a car the poster must put n/a for Not Applicable for the info that is not available.

yeah, i'm also sick of those newbies creating all those Skyline vs Supra threads. I say we should have a rule against those.

but It would be better if people made comparos like mine.

but you see the engine power torque and the 0-60 only tell you abtou straigth line.
From those numbers above you can tell a LITTLE bit about handling

For some (many?) it's not just about straight line !!!

I say give them a link to the sticky thread and ask them to edit the first post / add more info.

    What I care about:

    HP / Torque
    Weight
    Pictures
    0-60mph
    0-100mph
    Engine displacement
    Price (Specify currency)
    Country of origin

Basically any info available would help, track times and skidpad #s would be great as well.

I agree with you Niko, those should be the basic specs that should be used.
