    Test drove the M45 sport

This thursday my friend Ian went to the dealership to look at the g35 6 spd he is been looking to buy. I tagged along but when we got there, the guy did not have the g35 manual, only the automatic. now he hates auto cars and we were about to come back when we saw a red M. The dealer told us it was the M35. But it was a auto too. standing beside it was a black M45 sport. the dealer said that it was an auto too but with those buttons on the steering wheel that let you change the gear and it was fully loaded with all the options packages. It looked absolutely awesome. My friend asked if we could take it out for sometime and the guy agreed.
well the dealer drove it for a while and it seemed like a normal car. the ride quality is very good and the interior is quiet.
but when my friend got into the drivers seat and stood on the gas, we both instictively opened our windows even though the AC was on. This car sounds absolutely awesome. I started nagging him that I want to drive it too, the dealer also agreed and I got into the driving seat at a stop light.
I immediatley noticed one thing, the power, the car is so fast. you really have a feeling of responsibility with all this power. one moment we were going at 40 mph a few seconds after that were at 100 mph.
The engine is absolutely awesome. you dont realise how smooth the v8 is untill you drive it. The exhaust noise intoxicating after 4000 rpm, people in other cars start looking at you as you overtake them and the engine is over 4000 rpm.
I also like the braking. It doesnt dip forward much when you brake hard.
it also handles well, but we didnt test the handling much but it didnt seem like a heavy car when you drive it hard.
Plus the transmission is awesome. When you shift down it automatically blips the throttle. It sounds absolutely awesome.
Bottom line Ive never had such a rush in my life. The car is absolutely mindblowing. If I had 50000 to spend on a car it would be this one, black with stone/aluminium interior.

    I want one so bad

They should really make a G45 Sport Coupe. With a 6-speed. Lightened.

The R-35 Skyline would be the "G45" but i dont believe they are going to use a V8. Just the 3.5L twin turbo.

definately did..... don't miss the 545 either...

Items that the M45 has and the 545i does not are:

Cooled Venilated Seats, not just ventilated
Plays DVD Movies on front screen and rear drop down screen
    Wireless headsets with remote control
    Audio/Video Aux Inputs
    Plays DVD-Audio DVD's in 5.1 surround sound
MP3 6 disc in dash cd changer
    Voice input of navigation addresses
Inifiniti NAV trumps the BMW NAV in ANY area
    Rear Backup Camera
    RDS works with navigation
Choice of XM or Siruis satellite radio
    Smart Key, push button ignition
The computer system is much easier to use and much faster than iDrive
Tire Pressure Monitoring System displays PSI for each tire
    Lane Departure Warning System
    Rear Wheel Active Steering
Standard 19" Wheels without run flats
    More milage on the warranty
    Storage Space

I test drove an M45 sport, in black, the other day, and I will be buying one sometime in September. I guess I will sell my Infiniti I35. I also have my G35 coupe, which I love.

Call me an Infiniti Fanboy, the M45 will be my fourth.
