I think it is a 550 replica, the wheels are too fat for an original one.

plate says 550, but if the tyres are too fat, maybe it is a replica like Henk4 said.

these are the most popular replicas i believe

    Guys
you are awesome, but still hv a doubt, as you guys suggested checked few images of bothe 550 spyder and 718 rsk, there are minor differences i can figure out, in pictures of 550 spyder i found that hump(i mean the bulge pardon me i dun know whts that part is called as) missing and there were around 4 grill kind of openings on the rear hood. and in 718 RSK there are two aeroplain tail kind of things on its back i am not mistaken, but since you guys are sayin that this can be replica, then there is a posibility that there can be few changes, but as henk4 n vigra mentioned bout number plate "SJ 550" dat was realu great observation, here tooo got a doubt that is wht does J stands for? but guys you are realy great, am awestruck by the quick response and the way you observer like the width of the wheels dat was realy awesome i mean how can you guys figuredat out i mean the tyre width. Thx a lot guys.

I'm going to go out on alimb here, braising myself to be shot-down in flames. According to my numerous car referance infomation, the picture is of a Porsche 550A Spyder from 1959 when the design was revised and the engine output was upped to 130bhp. Guyonblack, the airscope above the engine wasn't added until then so that may be why it looks wrong. I'm more thne willing to admit im incorrect so people say so.

Question: Why does such a beautiful, well-known car as the Porsche 550 not have an entry on the UCP database?
