yeah ill admit that honda/acura has been going cheepo on the rims lately (though new civic si rims arn't bad)

I'd take the RL. It simply looks a lot better (Interior / Exterior), SH-AWD, 300 horsies and a brand known as being reliable.

The Infinit seems "inflated" or something, a bit too round if you ask me, while the RL looks sporty and more sexy.

those are optional on the non-sport models. some reasons id chose the M;
1. voice recognition is takes less than half the time and you dont need to TALK*LIKE*THIS

2. Looks alot beter imo and sounds better

3. regardles of the SH-AWD the M grips and responds better *passenger point of veiw*

4. better warranty

5. my family has owned; Honda Accord, Nissan Maxima, Nissan Sentra, Acura RL, and Infiniti RL (the nissans usually prevail)

something else id like to pioint out here; in city driving the auto transmission rarely exceeds 4500rpm. at 4000 rpm the RL makes 210hp while the infiniti makes about 235-240. the M's got a better warranty and our nissans have always lasted better than our hondas

really? weve had an altima a acura TL and a pathfinder and weve had no problems with the TL at all, nissans are good too but i love the acura, BTW the TL is almost five years old and running beautifully, sold the altima to my grandparents. the pathfinders a 2004 and has a weird engine noise, runs fine though(note pathfinder has same engine as m35)

i wouldnt joke with you guys. we owned a 1996 (bought end of '95) nissan maxima that was given no special attention. we had it up untill january 3rd 2005 and the only times it saw the mechanich was for routine checkup/ installation of a better tail pipe

me and my dad went to an acura dealership yesterday lookin at TL and i was looking at the RL a bit and a guy that worked there gave me this 5 page article from edmunds, it was a comparo between the m35x the RL the BMW 5 series an audi a6 and a lexus gs300 and guess what one came out on top? The RL.

story time; parents go to infiniti dealer for final test drive. after disscussing price my dad announced to the manager that they were going to the acura dealer to compare the '05 RL...manager says "oh, ive got one of those out back" visit the RL dealer and talk with the man helping them-once he hears they are considering an M he goes on about how great it is and how hes considering one-the RL would have been sold to us with 8k off the price with no negotiating clearly these cars are not selling...acura wont even release the 06 version for sale untill they sell more 05's
