Just studied the picture again, and on closer inspection, I can see a 2:20. I'm going to have to trun on the style

    LOL, true.
But I found that braking early at the second set of turns through the tunnel under the Park Avenue NY Central Bldg. and then cutting the second turn in that set pushing the throttle gently and cutting the corner can get a great result.

2:20...I guess I'm gonna end up spending another 2 hours shaving 2 seconds off.

My first set of runs (about 16 minutes worht) left me with a 2:25.34 time.

Second (about half an hour) got me to about 23.89.

My latest left me with 22.98.

I STILL keep oversteering when i i do that, thats probably one of my FAVORITE corners on that track just BECAUSE i can EASILY cut the second corner out. Now and then when i cut that corner the back tires coming off the hump can put me into a spin, like it sometimes does at the Nurburgring...

I had gotten into that spin a few times too. Coincidentally when I had an unbelievable run (Murphy's Law dictates that I'm sure to **** up when I'm doing well ). I found it much easier to get into a spin on the first set of turns at Grand Central because you're moving downhill as you're trying to correct yourself.

Yeah that shit happens to me too, ill run an ass kicking time, then on the last corner ill oversteer and either hit the wall or spin, or just drift. I tend to trail brake, in real life AND Forza, which i find helps me around corners faster. Generally you will tend to spin going downhill because the front of your car is turning but the back of your car isnt following quite as fast...
