    A8 4.2 TDI

    650 NM from 1600 - 3500rpm.

    30mpg, 200 miles further than the S8 or W12 on a tankfull.

Only 0.8 seconds slower to 62 than the S8

    Why not?
    Thanks for all the fish

On the plus side you can loose pursuers in a cloud of black soot when you stick your foot down.

no the bloody environmentalists have even taken that sort of fun away by making a particulate filter compulsory.

I'd say the S8 because it is probably funnier to drive than the W12

Indeed. I'd get it for mirrors, wheels, grille, and engine. Love it!

Query: Are Audi going to shove the VW V10 Diesel into the A8 anytime soon?

Nope, recently revamped to the 4.2 TDI to deliver 321bhp, and about 360lb/ft of torque, it's a beast.
