Day 1 update, both cars are still running ,Robs car has a faulty master cylinder, last lap first race brake pedal to the floor and into the sandtrap , got a new master cylinder for it, will fit it tommorrow. Clint had a baptism of fire in the night race spun on oil 3 times, thankfully no damage done. Alls good for tommorrow 9am first race, scrutineering at 7am , very early start for sharperto racing.

    Looks like fun

I owned a Centura* years ago, it was a pine-lime KB Hemi with black vinyl roof & sportswheels. Not a bad car, looked good imo and like all 6cyl hemis she hammered along

Rob didnt make his race in the morning, f--king brakes, Clint started 9th on the grid and finished 5th and into the finals. Rob had to drive the repocharge, brakes where fixed, all looked great, nut came off the lower control arm DNF . Clints final started well started 9th, got to 7th, over temp limiter came on in the engine management system and that was our day done. .All in all not a bad year Clints car has gone from a 1.20 to a 1.17 and Robs car a 1.22 to a 1.19.Have to sort out radiatior on clints car and change the front suspension, not enough camber at the moment only 1.25. Robs car needs different spring rates in the rear(its a evil tail happy MONSTER) and all should be good for next year, engine oil surge fixed , no more bangs. Cars now go in the shed for 5 mths and we can now all go waterskiing Thank god we have a new race engineer as we have no idea

The Stubber Camaro and A9X where at the track, but stubber wasnt driving them, I think they both have been sold, the camaro was entered by a SA guy John Bryant, the Camaro was racing in NC Historic and was a good 5 secs slower than Stubbers time and the A9X was in entered by Leo Jameson and was running in modern reg and was getting absolutely hosed by a street driven Bluebird my mate owns.. The Lambo is the only one in SA and is owned by a customer of Simon's from MORPOWA he tunes the fastest GTR and Lancer in AUST( he makes me say that) . The pit chick was over there posing for photo's.Here's a picture of the cooper car in front off the start , before the lower control arm nut comes off
