    They are pop...Pop stands for.."popular" these two bands are very main-stream and poppy. They change their sound to confrom to what the peopl want...

    emo (style) = emotional punk rock
    often known as try hard goths. because they wear black, act depressed, but listen to poppy music.

    personaly i have something against emoism, because well.. its just not my bag. but ohwell ey?

    MCR to me are too much like good charlotte or blink. its all blending into pop and EMO these days. i will stick with my electronica, experimental, trance, techno, house, rock, hard rock, chill, jass, blues, and surf music thanks.

    I also think that they are all pop-rock. See through their clothes and make up and you see the same. I'm no fan of any of these, but I think it's refershing sound. Not mentioned in the thread and worth noting are Killers, Bravery, and Yellowcard. "honest mistake" from the bravery is one of my favourites right now.

    Anyway, I´m so over disliking or liking music because it's in a genere or not. I don't listen to, say country music, but if there is a nice song, I´ll have it!!(Uncle Cracker rings a bell?).
