    Just after I won the lottery.

    OK so I didn't, but I have a friend in Suzuki USA who had a first hand report from someone there saying that was the case.
    The car was over for a show some years back.
    Apparently the super wide tires are just too much.

    Given it's third hand and an American who has probalby grown up only driving power steering is in the loop then you're comment is conisgned to the bin

    Yes, if you ONLY know about high-assistance power steering then EVERTHING unaided feels "heavy" and at the same time most won't notice the increased "feel" as it is often confused with "poor handling" becaues the wheels moves if the tyres do
