    One of these.

Anyway, I hate the Cayenne. Not because it is a Porsche SUV - it has proved it can go off-road- but because it is as ugly as sin. That is why I don't particularly like BMWs anymore.

I agree (with john14 who started the thread) I like the Cayenne a lot. So many people hate it...some guy at my dads work has one. Apparently he's a real tosser as well...(unrelated?)

No doubt about that point! When it comes to crappy SUV's, the X5 is the winner for sure...

I just saw a Cayenne Turbo... it sure has a nice sound!!

if you think its crappy then what about the Ruf versoin packing truck loads of power hitting 190+MPH on the autobhan? and the nice Gemballa. exactly. and it will still corner better then ur ricer honda civic. isn't it ncie to see little kids be like lets race and unleash it. not a sleeper but an SUV. its different. it has a Porsche name plate it keeps up with porche's name. like a 4 door porsche is any nicer. no but still thats besdies the point. G55 is horrible. 30 year old platform soooo un comfotable. its selling a name. and by all means the cayenne holds its name well. lets not forget Lamborghini once mad an SUV. LM2002 or something like that

i hate it... fugliest Porsche ever.

o.. SUVs are not any safer than normal cars, possibly more dangerous...
but then most SUV owners prob don't care b'coz it'll only injure the person in the other car...

Equally crappy and probably even uglier because of the rice bodykit.

I take your talking about the Mercedes G-class ? The G-class is a workhorse, it's a real off roader like the Land Rover Defender. It's absolutely amazing off road. It isn't supposed to be a road car. The only reason they have the AMG version available is to cater to pimps in the USA.

lets not forget Lamborghini once mad an SUV.
    Yeah and it sucked. Bigtime.

LM002 is the name you were looking for

The big problem with SUVs isn't how they look like (that's just personal opinion) or how they perform but it's an ethical problem.

Personally I like it...Maserati made the Quattroporte, Porsche made the Cayenne...both cruisers rather than racers. It's just that the Cayenne is more practical but Porsche wanted practical without boring, so an SUV it was!

i reckon its pretty damn cool, they have an awesome soundtrack. Though I think i'd rather have a Touareg V10 TDi than a Cayenne

anyway I like it , it's just the people driving it who I dislike, them 30-something golddiggers who drive like a piece of ****

Thanks for pointing that out dude...how stupid of me!!!!

Plus the guy has it really well customised, he didnt stick with the standard wheels or tail-pipes. Probably even nicer inside...

Except one. Cayennes aren't even equipped with a spare tyre so how they could be deemed 'more than capable' offroad is beyond me

I Love it. One of the best SUV's, one of the best innovations (Porsche's first non coupe or roadster car). Very practical, fast, luxurious.
