Gemballa GTR 650: Porsche 911 with two turbo's!

This januari the Porsche 911 turbo arrives at the dealers. At the same time Gemballa (www.gemballa.de) introduces her GTR 650 Avalanche.

Base for the GTR 650 is the 997 Carrera. The 3.6 liter engine was fitted with two turbo's bringing the power up to 650 bhp and the torque up to 850 Nm! According to Gemballa the 0-100 km/h time isn't interesting, it's the 0-200 km/h that counts. And takes (only) 11,2 seconds. The topspeed is 335 km/h.

To cool the turbo's, three intercoolers were installed and a titanium air-intake system was added. Gemballa further tells that the car will only delivered in a two-seater version because of the safety. And because looks are important too you can order a fully carbonfiber (except for the fenders) bodykit. There are also weels of either 19 or 20 inch.

In Germany this car will cost around 240.000 euro/ $287.000/ 163.000 pounds.

Wow, that's crazy! It's a great performer. Wonder if Ruf can come up with something this powerful.

How do you get in the car? I don't see door handles.
    Real cars are not FWD.

This looks to be a really nice performer. I really like the intakes on the rear spoiler. They remind me of the 993 GT2 which was a really awesome car. Also I think that Ruf can come up with something this crazy if not crazier. They made a car from a 997 Carrera that accelerates faster than any car R&T have tested and they got it up to 212mph on the Autobahn. That car was in R&T one or two months ago.

Wow, impressive - I love how overboard Gemballa tends to go with their customization

It has some good points...but in the side view it has too many contradicting shapes going on, could be much better and still be functional.
