Hi there,
I'm somewhat doing car shopping for my dad who currently drives a Renault Vel Satis which he has had for more than a year now and he wants something new (the renault already has close to 100k km).
He likes the Renault very much because it's somewhat high and he'd like something equally high. The Vel is easy to get into. The only things that are as high are (sadly) SUVs. So I'm somewhat looking at the Infiniti FX35. I know that they aren't officially sold in Belgium but there are a few imported FXs around here. Does anybody know in which countries they are sold (in Europe that is, we're not willing to import from the USA) ? Switzerland IIRC, but any other countries. Switzerland is not the EU so that could cost extra in import duties. Importing is free from other EU countries.
A second question: a was at the Brussels motorshow yesterday and I sat in a Nissan Murano but I was very disappointed about the interior, build quality was reasonable but the materials felt and looked very plasticky. How do the Infiniti materials compare to the materials that Nissan uses ?
I really like the FX because it looks very cool and is relatively cheap. (my dad's very cheap ). Looking at the M class as well but it the price/features ratio isn't all that great.
