i think its pretty feasible if they get the weight capacity up in any way possible...but the major thing i think they should do is go ahead and create engines that run on hydrogen hybrid or 100% electric, that way we dont start out normal combustion engines or are all over again. anybody that wants one will have to get one that doesnt run entirely off fossil fuels. though that may bring down the amount of buyers, i think that once people realize that they are actually a good idea, it will decrease the amount of people driving fossil fuel cars. overall i think its a good way to get people to stop depending on fossil fuels and rely on something renewable and more efficient

    opinions anybody?

Hmm, with modern materials it might actually come about. An idea from the 50s

It's a good idea but how people are going to use it is a completely different story. WIth terrorism still with us, I doubt it will be implimented. There's also the idea about integrating landing and takeoff areas for these planes. How would you put that into our system of transportation? These problems need to be answered first.

People cant follow the rules of the road in america as it is. People flat out dont know how to drive, so now we are going to allow them to fly aswell lol. its cool they can make a flying car etc, but it brings so many other problems to the table that I just dont see it happening any time soon....freak
