lets see. super car with plenty of power + unexperienced driver (might have years, but not with fast cars)/show off = hundreds of totaled "cars like this" a year. but you could total a metro just as easy as a gt or an enzo. the metro would be a little more enjoyable though.

this guy may have been a good driver, and with only 9 miles he was obviously only just getting to know the car. He might've never driven a mid engined car before, never driven one as powerful etc.

umm, do you understand how insurance works? It's there so you get paid WHEN IT'S YOUR FAULT! THis guy would have to worry about them writing it off, which insurers often tend to do with supercars, but even then, its only a Ford GT, so I imagine it wouldn't be as much to repair as if he'd crashed a Lambo or FErrari
